CHECK OUT THE "HOME" page for details of meeting places and times.
We have one service on Sunday starting at 10am. Generally the service begins with worship, followed by a short ‘community time’ to meet new people, catch up with friends and grab a cup of coffee. During this time our children's programs start. Then we have a talk about different themes found in the scriptures that relate to our lives today.

Worship
Worship is central to all we do at Yarra Valley Vineyard (YVV).
Our goal is to lead and equip the church to worship God in spirit and truth. "God is spirit, and his worshippers must worship in spirit and in truth."
John 4:24
We have different opportunities for participating and growing together in worship. Check out the links to the right to find out more.
God encounter nights are a time of worship and prayer in a way that is fresh and exciting. This is not your typical prayer meeting. We infuse elements of scripture, songs and prayer in a variety of ways that keep us engaged with God and His heart for us and our world. Each God encounter night looks a little different so come on the first Sunday Bi-Monthly to see how God is moving in our midst.

Prayer Ministry
At YVV we offer appointment-based prayer ministry during the week to give opportunity to pray and talk through life issues that require more time and privacy than the usual ministry time on Sunday.
Prayer Ministry Training
YVV offers a training course for those involved in the Prayer Ministry.
During the Healing Prayer Ministry Course you'll learn of many of the roots of hurts and behaviours that keep us from enjoying His freedom and ways to dealing with those. The course will include demonstrations and practical sessions. The cost of the course is $80 per term ($50 concession). A folder and detailed notes will be provided. This course is open to people from other churches. You will require approval from the minister of your church. Forms are available at the church.
Home Groups are the Life Groups that are very intentional about nurturing people in their Christian walk.
A lot of community life happens outside the walls of the church building when we grow, share, and serve together. Life Groups are one of the primary ways relationships are built in the Vineyard. At YVV, ‘Life Groups’ is used as an umbrella term. It covers most any way people choose to gather and relate on a regular basis, because we simply want to affirm the pursuit of people growing in relationship together.
Some groups might fall into the category of a Special Interest or Service group (e.g. a walking group, a music team). Some groups might fall into the category of an Equipping or Training group (e.g. Alpha Course, Life Keys Course).
Alongside these are our Home Groups. To help us all grow, share and serve together, we especially encourage people to find a Home Group. Here we share our life stories, joys, and sorrows – not to mention meals – with the people in our groups.
We want to help you find a Home Group that’s right for you.
Sew Blessed is a friendship group for patchworkers. Our group works on projects while enjoying the encouragement, help and inspiration of other patchworkers at whatever level they are at - from beginner to more experienced.
We also offer beginner classes, friendship groups, talks on techniques and have planned events.
We conduct a number of events throughout the year which are specifically for men. These provide opportunities for men to support and encourage each other in the issues that they face.
One of the major events is the annual 4WD / camping weekend.

Getting Started
A new church can sometimes be daunting. This is your chance to check us out! Come along for a relaxed meal at a home or at YVV...
YVV people are involved in many different mission organisations in a variety of ways, from financial and prayer support, to short and long term missions. We encourage everyone to listen to God’s call on them as to where and how to be involved in mission.
Since Christmas 1997, we have had the opportunity to be the distribution point of Christmas Gifts for this area. All gifts that are donated are brought to YVV where we set up appointments with families in need who have been referred by Anglicare and other welfare agencies.
A Christmas Lunch is put on for anyone in the church or the community who otherwise may spend Christmas alone. Other activities are also included to make it a great event.
